Alberts Cottage is a charming 200 year old self catering cottage in the mid Norfolk village of Ashill. The property overlooks the duck pond and is within walking distance of the village shop and the recently refurbished public house which serves real ale and meals. The village of Ashill is in the heart of Norfolk and in Breckland, just six miles from the historic market town of Swaffham; now famed for the filming of Stephen Fry’s ‘Kingdom’. The coastal area of North Norfolk, Wells and Blakeney are within 35 miles with Sandringham, home to the Queen is less than half an hours drive.
Bird watchers will be captivated by the wide range of rare birds in the area including the Stone Curlew.
